Wanda Dianne Scott, 75, of Elkmont, passed away on Thursday, March 16th, 2023, at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Scott was born on April 14th, 1947, to Robert and Lily Inez Posey.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her daughter Tammy Clinard (Lynn); grandchildren Aaron Lovell (Aimee), Kalynn Williams (Brian), Gracen Underwood (Seth), and Westin Clinard; great-grandchildren Aiden, James, and Hope Lovell, and Walynn Williams; and brothers Johnny Posey (Brenda) and Marty Posey (Barbara). She was loved by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Scott fostered several children. One being closer to her: Mary Sue Schrimsher.
Mrs. Scott is preceded in death by her husband of fifty years George Stanley Scott; parents Robert E and Inez Posey; and brother Jackie Posey.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, March 19th 2023, at Oakgrove Cemetery, at 2:00 p.m., with Brent Hawkins officiating. The visitation will be Saturday, March 18th, 2023, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Aaron Lovell, Westin Clinard, Seth Underwood, Brian Williams, Braden Long, and Ryan Posey. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Posey, James Lovell, Austen Willard, Alex Nafe, Rob Posey, Bennie Holt, and Dillon Ferguson.
Mrs. Scott loved to make and grow flowers. She also loved to read, go fishing, and watch Alabama football.
