Walter Wayne “Sonny” Holden, 77, of Killen, passed away August 23, 2024, at his residence. He was an auto mechanic at AAMCO Transmission and a member of the Church of Christ faith. Survivors include: Wife: Linda Elaine Crosslin Holden – Killen, AL Daughter: Jessica Lynn Holden – Killen, AL Brother: Franklin Holden (Alice) – Lexington, AL Sister: Betty Bowling – Lawrenceburg, TN Grandchildren: Devin Creed Holden, Jordis Elaine Holden, Matthew Phillip Holden, Jordan Wayne Holden & Jason Lee Holden Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends Preceded in death by: Parents: Walter Holden & Georgie Beavers Holden Sons: Phillip Wayne Holden & George Jason Holden Brother: Bobby Holden Sister: Louise Phillips Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 2:00pm, at Center Hill Cemetery, with Shane Bowling officiating. Interment will follow at Center Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Rocky Holden, David Burns, L.C. Burns, Mike Crosslin & Lee Holden. Honorary pallbearers will be: Tony Holden, G.W. Crosslin, David Holden, William Miller, and Tony Holloway.
