Walter “Wally” Alan Wendt Sr., 60 years of age, of Lawrenceburg, TN. Passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday morning, September 21, 2021, due to complications of COPD.
Wally was born on June 29, 1961, at Great Lakes Naval Base in Waukegan, Illinois, to Lewis and Dixie Wendt. He attended Irving Crown High School in Carpentersville, Illinois. Wally married his wife Leisa on May 12, 1984, at Faith Lutheran Church.
Wally worked in plastics and later became a truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren whether it was building model trains, working on cars, or fishing.
Wally is survived by his wife Leisa of Lawrenceburg, TN. His children: Coreina Tucker, Crystal (Chris) Johnson, Michael (Christina) Pivin, Walter (Cathy) Wendt Jr., Judith (James) Carter; his sisters: Kim Weber, Robin (Roger) Butler, Johanna (Bill) Vincent, and Tiara (Bruce) Rozell; and his grandchildren: Jacquelyn, Brent, Christopher, Breanna, Sean, Eddie, Jasper, Ericca, Hana, and Jennifer.
