Walter Thomas Grider Jr., age 86, of Scottsboro, AL passed away February 1, 2023. He was a member of Calvary Baptist. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his daughter: Karen Lovvorn (Kerry) of Scottsboro, AL; grandson: Josh Lovvorn of Scottsboro, AL; granddaughter: Tiffany Rash (Ethan) of Scottsboro, AL; great grandchildren, Harper Rash and Macie Kate Rash, one niece, two nephews and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Oglear Grider; parents: Walter Thomas Grider Sr and Lillian Middleton Grider and sister, Earline Grider. , one niece, two nephews and a host of friends.
The funeral services will be Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday February 4, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
