Walter Shane Vest, 57, of Hartselle, died on Friday, July 5, 2024 surrounded by his family. A celebration of life will be announced by Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Vest was born on Sunday, November 27, 1966 to Walter and Leta Vest in Decatur, Alabama.
Walter was a self-employed electrician and mechanic. He was a loving father, he loved Nascar, Alabama football, and fishing. Mr. Vest was preceded in death by his parents and brother K.V. Vest.

Two daughters: Stephanie Vest and Marlena Doughty (Chad)
Two brothers: Mark Walden (Claudia) and Jackie Walden (Jane)
Sister: Aleta Vest-Oliver (Mark)
