Walter Earl Dodd, age 84 of Franklin, TN passed away February 26, 2022. He is a native of Williamson County, TN and retired after 35 years with Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Cooperative serving as a lineman. Preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle Fagan and William Bryan Dodd. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Hargrove Dodd; daughters, Tamara Kay (Rick) Easterly and Phyllis Ann Dodd; sons, Walter Earl (Brenda) Dodd, Jr. and Bryan Webster (DeAnna) Dodd; brother, Bryan Nelson (Jean) Dodd; sisters, Marion Emogene Dodd and Linda (Buddy) Lipscomb; fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Ronnie Johnson and Ed Slayton officiating. Visitation will be 4-8:00 PM Friday and one hour prior to the service. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are current and former employees of MTEMC and J.B.
