goofyGoofy is a funny animal cartoon character created back in 1932 at Walt Disney productions.Goofy is a close friend of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck and is one of Disney’s most popular characters. He is normally characterized as extremely clumsy and having little intelligence, yet this interpretation isn’t always definitive since Goofy is sometimes shown as intuitive and clever.

Goofy debuted in animated cartoons in 1932. He was used extensively as part of a comedy trio with Mickey and Donald. Just before the 1940s, Goofy was given his own series of shorts which were popular during the 1940s and early 50s.

However, Goofy wasn’t Walt Disney’s favorite cartoon. In fact, he disliked the Goofy cartoons and only continued the series to make-work for his animators!I bet he never expected that Goofy was going to become such a big hit.
