FLORENCE – Walmart’s Garden Center has a grand opening happening Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Hough Road off Cox Creek to 
raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network.
The Florence Fire Department will be bringing their red fire truck and smoke house to the event to help with fire education.
Walmart will be providing literature in growing a garden full of colorful flowers and delicious vegetables of your very own.
They will be giving away Strawberry Bonnie Plants to kids, one per family. They will also have Easter egg surprises.
Walmart will have a juicy hot dog wheel full of tasty hot dogs, drink and chip meals outside for five dollars.
One shiny, new lawn mower and two bicycles will be given away, and all you have to do to enter is donate one dollar to the Children’s Miracle Network. The drawing will be held at 2 p.m., and you must be present to win!
They also will be having an early bird special of top soil for .75 cents and mulch for a $1.50. All proceeds from this function will be going to the Children’s Miracle Network.
Walmart invites you to come out, get your hands dirty, and watch the beautiful plants grow!
