Wallace Thomas Nappier Wallace Thomas Nappier, 95 of the Union Hill Community, Morgan County passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born August 2, 1928, the eldest son of William Thomas Nappier and Etha Champion Nappier. He was a graduate of the Union Hill School Class of 1945. On October 25, 1951, he enlisted in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged October 27, 1961. He married Frances Keisler Nappier on March 20, 1959 and was together for 63 years at the time of her passing February 23, 2023. He was a member of the New Canaan Baptist Church, Union Grove Masonic Lodge, the Shriners and was retired from Saginaw.

He is survived by his daughters: Karen Graham (Ken) of Decatur and Linda Allen (Kenny) of Union Hill, grandchildren: Adam Lowe (Marina) of Land of Lakes, FL, Kristina Lowe (David) of Franklin, TN, Christopher Allen (Katie) of Wilmer, AL and Jake Allen (Jada) of Loxley, AL; great-grandchildren, Angelina Lowe, Elyssa Lowe, Adysson Lowe, Cole Allen, Kyle Allen, Evelyn Allen, Ginny Allen, Clara Allen and Houston Allen; bonus great-grandchildren: Nick Jester and Eliza Jester. He was preceded by his wife: Frances Nappier, parents: William T. and Etha Nappier and a brother: William “Bill” Nappier.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the New Canaan Baptist Church with Brother Shane Wheeler officiating. The burial with military honors will be in the adjoining cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
