FLORENCE – Get your family involved at the 6th Annual Candy Cane Run/Walk and the 2013 Polar Plunge 
Saturday morning December 7 in McFarland Park in Florence.
Registration begins at 7 am in Shelter 1 for the Candy Cane events. The 5k gets under way at 8 am. The 1 mile walk begins at 9am. Pictures with Santa take place during the events from 8-9:30 am.
The 2013 Polar Plunge takes place at 10 am December 7 after the runs. Come dive with us in the chilly waters of the Singing River …The Tennessee River?
A special t-shirt commemorates your daring jump – all for the sake of helping children. T-shirts are only provided to registrants who actively participate in the plunge. Your $10 Plunge registration includes Commemorative Plunge t-shirt.

Events occur rain or shine. Please dress accordingly. Race awards and prizes will be presented in various categories.
The events are fundraisers for Court-Appointed Special Advocates. CASA recruits, trains, and manages community volunteers to serve a advocates for children who are in court due to abuse and or neglect. Please call 256-765-0041
