THE SHOALS-SCOPE-310 invites the public tobe a part of an effort to bring attention to the need for adequate funding for mental health services.
SCOPE-310 is trying raise public awareness and keep this issue in front of our local legislators they are asking for those in support and others along with many local agencies to walk from the Lauderdale county courthouse to the local legislative delegation offices.
Staging for the event will be at the south side of the parking lot of the Lauderdale County 
Courthouse to begin at 9:30 0n Wednesday, July 29th. No one needs to be there earlier than 9:30 due to heat issues.
Participants of the March will leave the courthouse promptly at 10:00 a.m. escorted by Florence Police and will march 3 blocks to the legislative office. SCOPE-210 is asking that every participant bring a pair of shoes to place on the lawn in front of the legislative office. Once at the legislative office there will be the placing of the shoes and a brief program.
