Funeral for W. L. Early, age 77, of Moulton will be Monday, October 24, 2022, at Liberty United Methodist Church, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Lynn Terry and Ronald Thrasher officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home and also Monday, October 24, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Liberty United Methodist Church.
Mr. Early, who died Thursday, October 20, 2022, at his residence, was born November 12, 1944, to Woodrow and Louise Early. He retired from Monsanto/Solutia (34 years) as a maintenance mechanic/shipping. After retirement he made his love of tractors his full time occupation. He also served in the National Guard for 6 years. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Early; sons, Rodney Early (Leanne) and Jason Early (Kim); one brother, Allen Early (Nancy); two sisters, Nancy Hall and Martha Hood Johnson (Eddie); and six grandchildren, Gabriel Early, Gabe Borden, Analee Borden, Chase Early, Jake Early, and Josie Early.
Pallbearers will be Gabriel Early, Chad Mote, Barry Blankenship, Tony Smith, Robin Sandlin, and Marlon Tucker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy McCleskey and Ronald Thrasher.
