Voncil Taylor (Statom) Faust, age 85, a longtime resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017, after a short illness.
Voncil loved art, reading, travel, and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Barker (Richard), of Richmond Hill, Georgia, and Rebecca Statom, of Spanish Fort; son, Richard Statom (Irene), of Florence; grandchildren, Amanda Barker and Ian Barker, of Richmond Hill, Georgia; and numerous relatives and friends. She will be remembered for her courage, resilience, and loving nature. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She exemplified her motto of “Live, Love, Laugh.”
Visitation will be held Monday, June 12, 2017, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
