Vonceil “Tenny” Bradley – Obituary

viocelMrs. Vonceil “Tenny” Bradley, 86, of Florence passed away on March 28, 2016 at Mitchell Hollingsworth. She retired as a school teacher from Wilson High School and she was a member of Salem Church of Christ.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Greenview Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Church of Christ with Sonny Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in Roger’s Chapel Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, H.Y. “Buddy” Bradley and her parents, Leslie Givens and Juanita Forsythe Givens.

Survivors include her son, Michael Bradley (Debra); daughter, Cecilia Bradley Gunlock (George); grandchildren, Leslie Whitten (Justin), Michaela Roberts (Sawyer) and Kathryn Gunlock; great-grandchildren, Neely Brooke Roberts and Madalyn Kate Roberts and Denver Taylor Whitten.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wiley Coates, George Gunlock, Sawyer Roberts, Justin Whitten, Jay Gibson and Randy Russell.

Phillip Patterson, Travis Burgess, Paul Parker, Aaron MacDonald, Mark Patterson and Jerry Clemmons will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Eldercare Services, especially Nancy Berry, her caregiver. The family would also like to thank Dr. Lumpkins and his staff, especially Stacy and the staff at Huntsville Hospital NICU.

A very special thanks to the staff at Mitchell Hollingsworth Rehab. Their kindness was much appreciated.
