SHEFFIELD-Volunteers with fishing boats and pontoon boats are needed for this year’s
Timmy Horton Fishing for Kids fishing rodeo for special needs anglers. The
pontoon boats are needed for anglers who use wheelchairs.
The rodeo is Saturday, Sept. 28 on Pickwick Lake out of Riverfront Park in
Sheffield.
At this year’s rodeo, the anglers will fish 9-11 a.m. Live bait can be used
and will be provided. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Volunteers should
arrive by 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided for the anglers and volunteers.

“Alabama and Auburn both have noon kickoffs that day, but the volunteers can
rest assured that we will have them back at home in plenty of time to watch
the game. We will be through with the weigh-in by noon.”
