Vivian Alexander departed this life on Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 4 days. She was born on March 25, 1947, daughter to the late John Floyd and Willie Lois Bryant Morgan. She was united in marriage to James Carroll “Sammy” Alexander on August 27, 1966, who survives.
Vivian was retired as a supervisor from Savannah Manufacturing after 30 years. She also had worked at Dollar General as a manager for 11 years. She was a member of the Olive Hill Presbyterian Church and treasurer of the Olive Hill Cemetery Committee. Vivian enjoyed gardening and canning the fruits and vegetables that she raised. She was a seamstress for the public, but she also enjoyed sewing for her family.
In addition to her husband, Sammy, Vivian is survived by her children, Creed Alexander of Olive Hill, Tennessee and Carol Ann Odle of Savannah, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Grant Alexander, Haley Odle, and Libby Odle.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Alexander is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack and Clemmie Bryant, William and Tip Morgan, and Eddie Morgan.
