Mrs. Virginia Watkins Marks, 88, of Florence passed away on March 20, 2016 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ.
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from Noon until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Dr. Kenny Barfield officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Marks; son, Marshall Allen Marks; parents, Charlie D. Watkins and Annie Lou Watkins.
Survivors include her sons, David Howard Marks (Lynne), John Lewis Marks (Connie) and Leon Neal Marks (Anita) daughter, Elizabeth M. Renault (Gilbert); sister-in-law, Nancy Marks Ahmed (Zaf); brother, William Watkins (Sonny); sister, Margie Willet and thirteen grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Curtis Watkins, John Appuhn, Craig Wallace, Morris Willet, Paul Roberson and Wayne Watkins.
The family wants to especially thank Dr. Felix Morris for his loving kindness and professional care.
