Mrs. Virginia Tate Scott, age 70, passed away on Sunday in Lexington. She was born March 21, 1953 in Hohenwald, TN to the late Plase Tate and Bertha Ward Tate. She was an employee of Wilger, and loved to work. She also loved spending time with her family and shopping. She was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Tate. Survivors include her son, Stuart Scott (Lindsey); her sister, Phyllis Johnson; and three grandchildren, Chloe, Ava, and Sy Scott.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Friday, April 28, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Corinth Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, 9 AM – 9 PM and on Friday, 10 AM – 2 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.
