Virginia (Sis) Roberta Sharp, 81 of Florence, AL passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013. She was a native of Lauderdale Co and retired as a Cosmetology Inspector. She was a member of Stony Point Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 6-9:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Stony Point Church of Christ at 3:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Berry Robert Sharp; father, Robert Lee Irons; mother, Cora Bell Irons; brothers, Junior, Jimmy and Jerry Irons; sister, Elizabeth Martin.
Survivors include her sons, Bobby Sharp ( Patsy) and Johnny Sharp; brothers, Carl (Francis), Steve (Rosemary), and Randy (Susan) Irons; grandchildren, Daniel, Adam, Brandon, Joseph and Kayla Sharp; great-grandchildren, Johnathan and Devin Burns and Jake Sharp; thirty nieces and nephews and very close friends who were there in her time of need. Thanks to special friends Sherry Fowler and Shirley Norred.
Pallbearers will be Daniel, Adam and Brandon Sharp, Jeff Gibbs, Matt Irons and Randy Nix. Joseph Sharp will serve as honorary pallbearer.
