It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Virginia Patterson Stargell. Virginia was born July 25, 1948 to Johnny and Annie Bell Patterson. She attended Emma Sansom High School and worked at Ranger, Midsouth, and Honda. She loved to sew, read, and spend time with her great-grandchildren.
Virginia is preceded in passing by her father and mother; a brother Tommy Patterson; and her husband Jimmy Stargell.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kelly Kimberly; a granddaughter Holli Pendergraft (Adam); great-grandchildren Noah and Rylee Pendergraft; a brother Marshall Patterson (Diane), sisters Myra Martin, Carolyn Bellew, Janey Gray, Susan Harrell (Charlie), and Mary Ellen Campbell; along with chosen sisters Charlsey Gamblin and Mollie Zelsdorf.
There will be a memorial service at The Tabernacle Church of Gadsden on Saturday, March 22 at 1:00 PM.
The family would like to thank Riverview Medical Center and Gentiva Hospice for their tender care.
