Virginia O. Guerra of Murfreesboro Tennessee… Died on January 12th, 2023. She
died in Oakhurst CA after spending the Holidays with Family in the snowy
mountains.
Virginia was born on Aug 12th, 1935, in Scottsboro Alabama to Elizabeth and Bose
Olinger. She was a long-time resident of Jackson County.
Virginia is one of 12 siblings of the Olinger Family.
Virginia LOVED to be outdoors, and garden and her greatest joy was watching her
Grandchildren and Great grandchildren run wild in the fresh air like she did as a
child. The Grandchildren will especially miss their “Hamma”.
Virginia was best known for her signature red hair and her sass that came along
with it. Anyone who met her loved her and her family will deeply miss her strong
presence in their life.
Virginia and her Husband Anthony Guerra had 4 Children.
Virginia is Preceded in death by her Husband Anthony (2006) and Survived by her
children, Alicia Guerra Nichols, Christopher Guerra, Vincent Guerra, And Michael
Guerra. She is also Survived by her Grandchildren Brittany (Jeremy) Cummings
Sarah Nichols and Tatiane Guerra. She has 2 Great Grandchildren Gunner
Cummings and Karoline Smith.
The family is deeply saddened by her passing and are comforted in our grief by
knowing that she is with us daily and we are proud of the legacy she left for us to
build upon.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday January 27th, 2023 at Rudder Funeral Home,
Scottsboro, AL.
Funeral services will be held at Rudder Funeral home in Scottsboro AL, on January
27th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
