Virginia Nadine Whittemore James, 83, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born August 17, 1929 in West Frankfort, Il. and was a salesperson for Sears for 15 years.
A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, November 29, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Al. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are three children – Ronald James, Red Bay, Al., William “Bill” James, Golden, Ms. and Debra Lambert (Bill) LaVergne, Tn.; four grandchildren – Ronald James, Blake James, Jessica James Sides (Brett) and Keifer Morgan and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Whittemore and Florence Carrick Whittemore, two grandchildren and four brothers.
Visitation will be 4-5 p.m. Thursday, November 29, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al.
