Virginia Lorene Hopson, age 85 of Nauvoo, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Old Union Baptist Church, funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Old Bethel Cemetery. Bro. Kenny Sudduth will officiate.
Mrs. Hopson was preceded in death by her Father-Noah Trimble; Mother-Lois Trimble; Sister-Jeanette Romine; Son-Pug Nelson; Husband-Joseph Lavell “Buddy” Nelson; Husband-Aubrey T. Hopson.
She is survived by her Sons-Grady Mitchell Nelson (Donna) of Natural Bridge and Aaron Anthony Hopson (Julia) of Nauvoo; Sister-Louise McKleroy of Nauvoo; Grandchildren-Emily and Laura Nelson.
