Virginia Lee (Erkan) Prozan – Obituary

Virginia Lee (Erkan) Prozan, 80, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away at home peacefully on May 11, 2018. She was born April 10, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York.  She moved to Huntsville in 1963 and joined North Hills Christian Church and later First Christian Church.  Virginia was deeply devoted to her family as a mother and grandmother.  She was a talented artisan and craftsperson. She counted antique collecting and refinishing, quilting, and photography as hobbies.  She was a member of the quilting group at First Christian where she made lasting friendships and beautiful quilts her family will cherish forever.  In her career in studio photography with PCA Corporation, she grew from photographer to District Manager and eventually, award-winning Regional Manager.

Virginia is survived by her beloved sons Lenny Prozan, Jeff Prozan (Paige), Chris Prozan (Laura); grandchildren Randi Prozan and Riley Prozan (Lenny), Lindsay Prozan Murphy (Rob) and Jonathon Prozan (Jeff), Nicholas Prozan and Luke Prozan (Chris).  She was preceded in death by her parents Aida Erkan Morse and Norris Morse.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at First Christian Church in Huntsville with Reverend Paul Allen officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm, with Memorial service following.
