Mrs. Virginia Julian Whisenant Mrs. Virginia Julian Whisenant of the Ryan Community; went home to be with our Lord on the evening on Friday – April 23, 2021 at the age of 76.

Mrs. Whisenant was born on the 24th of December in 1944 to the late John Malcolm Julian and Dovie Melissa Ralph Julian. She enjoyed reading, traveling, listening to gospel music and working as the church librarian. She was a member of the Ryan Baptist Church.
Mrs. Whisenant leaves behind to honor her life and legacy, beloved husband of 57 years, W.A. Whisenant Jr.; sons, Monte Whisenant (Joan) and Brent Whisenant (Susan); brothers, Don Julian (Geraldine), Tony Julian (Terri) and Stanley Julian (Pat); sisters, Melba Hill and Annette Crawford (Paul); grandchildren, Becky Kennedy, Shawnna Jarvis (Jacob) and Neil Whisenant; great grand children, Mikell Kennedy, Layla Ard and Willow Jarvis; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her beloved parents; Mrs. Whisenant is at last reunited with her brother, Steve Julian.

A visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Monday – April 26, 2021 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

On Tuesday – April 27, 202; Mrs. Whisenant will lie-in-state from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Ryan Baptist Church

Funeral service will take place at the Ryan Baptist Church on Tuesday – April 27, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Terry Hudson and Bro. Eldridge Criscoe, officiating.

Interment will follow services at the Ryan Cemetery.
