Mrs. Virginia Dial, 82, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Waynesboro, TN April 12, 1930. She was a military wife through WWII and the Korean War. Mrs. Dial traveled the country and the world. She was a retired supervisor with Harvard Interiors in St. Louis, MO.
Mrs. Dial was the daughter of Carter and Annie Bell Barkley. Survivors include a brother, Robert Leon Barkley of Cypress Inn, TN; daughter, Patricia Richardson, and one grandson, Scott A. Richardson.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and dog lover.
We extend sincere appreciation to Hospice of the Shoals. Special thanks to Dr. Webb and nurses, Ms. Heather, Charlene, Bethany, Lisa and all the bath ladies. Also, special thanks to Ms. Debbie, way to go above and beyond. Absolutely extraordinary. Amazing woman. We love you Ms. Debbie, and Buddy wants to clone you.
