Virginia Dare Trousdale Wix, 92 of Sheffield, died Friday, August 28, 2015. Visitation will be Monday 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Eddie Wix officiating. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Wix was a retired nurse from ECM hospital and a member of Woodward Ave Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wix, Sr. and daughter, Diane Lyndon.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Darlene DeShouten and husband, Royce, Carl, Eric, Allen, and Janet; one nephew, several nieces, a special step-daughter, Kay Webb and husband, John; stepson, Eddie Wix and wife, Kathy; son-in-law, Jerry Lyndon; and host of great- grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
