Virginia Ann Warren, 81, of Gurley, passed away Tuesday at a local hospital. Virginia has lived in the Jackson County and Madison County area for the last 30 years. She was retired from Chrysler and a member of Sheepgate Christian Fellowship, which she helped to build and win souls for the kingdom of God. She had a heart for children and a desire for them to know Jesus.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Tom H. Warren and brothers, C.E. Warren, David Warren, James Thomas Warren, and Jimmy Warren.

Surviving are son, James (Debbie) Kaphart and special care giver and friend, Glen Moore and Randy Webber.

Visitation will be Sunday 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastors Kevin Dewberry, Aaron Hinshaw, Clay Webber, and Randy Webber officiating.

Burial will be at Moon Cemetery beside her beloved Tom.
