Violet Sue McKee, age 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at her home. She was born October 20, 1940. Violet was a life long resident of Guntersville, Alabama and an avid Alabama Football fan. She loved gardening, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Gothard; grandchildren, Sharanna Bridges and Tyler Gothard; great grandchildren, Hayden Bridges, Emily & Brandy Gothard; nieces, Shelly Ehler and Tammy Motoa; and dear friend and companion, Scott Grupp.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin McKee; parents, Claud and Onnie Mae McGee, sister, Glenda (Bill) Filer; nieces, and dear friend, Ricky Dickson.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
