Violet Gilbert Redden, age 93, of Florence passed away Monday, November 19, 2012. The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 21, 1:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Interment will be at Sanderson Cemetery. Mrs. Redden was a member of Darby Drive Church of Christ and Cross Point Church of Christ. She worked at Frigid Dough, was a cashier at UNA Cafeteria and worked at Bama Kid Pre School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miller A. Redden; sisters, Lola Gilbert, Daisy Tollison and Donnie Gargis. Survivors include her son, Billy A. Redden (Dixie) of Florence; Sister, Dorothy Zills of Huntsville; Granddaughter, Jennifer Redden; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
