Mrs. Viola Martain BellMrs. Viola Martain Bell, 100 of Arab, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. Bell was born December 7, 1919 in Lincoln County Tennessee to John Henry Roland and Ida Bostick Roland. She was married to Greston Ike Bell for 52 years; he preceded her in death in 1989. She was homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, and dearly loved spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Bell was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother: Wayne Roland and her nieces and nephews: Alice Manning, Barbara Thornton and Buddy, Linda Wagner, Billy Roland and Brenda and several extended family members. Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband: Greston Ike Bell; her children: Kathleen Bell Michael, Zola Bell and Peggy Lucille Bell and her siblings: Clarence Roland and Pauline Payton.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Tim Lynch and Jimmy Flynn, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery on Tuesday January 28, 2020 at 11:00 am with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Greg Thornton, Paul Thornton, Jamie Bradshaw, Josh Fleming, Lane Ayers and Billy Seagroves.
Visitation will be 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Sunday January 26, 2020 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
