Viola LoweViola “Granny” Lowe, age 85, of Sulligent passed away Thursday April the 14th at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL. Visitation will be at Otts Funeral Home Friday, April 15, 2022 from 6-8pm, funeral Saturday at 11am in the Otts Funeral Home Chapel.  Brother Matthew Paul will officiate. Burial to follow in the Wofford Cemetery.

She was born on December 12, 1936 to the late Edward and Avis Merchant Robison. She was employed at McCoy Mfg for 35+ years as a seamstress and floor lady. Never fully retiring, she would do most anything she could do to keep busy. Her mantra was “any problem can be overcome by prayer and hard work (and peanut butter)”. She never slowed down until her very recent health issues forced it. Never once meeting a stranger, she loved to “pick at” or “go on at” everyone she met. The laughter and smiles she brought to so many will be remembered for years. Being involved with her church family at the Free Will Baptist and living each day as best she could by God’s word were the most important things to her.
