Viola G. Walker, age 81, of Florence, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 17, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 18, 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Bill Hall officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Danny Joe Narmore, Josh Hale, Matthew Cole, Kevin Goss and Raymond Voigt.
Mrs. Walker was a member of College View Church of Christ and retired as an elementary school teacher from Muscle Shoals City Schools after 22 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 39 years, John C. Walker; and second husband, James S. Coburn.
Survivors include children, Peggy Hale (Gene), of Chattanooga, Tenn., Joan Narmore (Danny), of Florence, Nancy Goss (Richard), of Florence, John T. Walker, Susan, of Florence; grandchildren, Melanie Hale, Danny Joe Narmore (Heather), Josh Hale (Eleanor), Laurie Narmore, Kelli Loggins (Matt), Casey Walker, Brandon Narmore (Mary Beth) and Kevin Goss; four great-grandchildren.
