Viola Francis Smith, age 84, of Phil Campbell, Alabama, passed away Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014.
The visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at Akins Funeral Home followed by the 4 p.m. funeral service in Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Brother DJ Hall officiating. Interment will be in Colbert Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady A. Smith, grandson, Jason Crouch, parents, Willard and Mildred Finn, and siblings, William Finn, Shirley Ridgeway, and Anna Jane Geisler.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Crouch and husband, Ronnie, and Grady K. Smith and wife, Cindy;
grandchildren, Jennifer Hall, Jonathan Crouch, Garrett Smith, Arica Mills, and Zachary Smith; great-grandchildren, Justin Hall, DJ Hall, and Sarah and Joshua Hall, Jessica Hall, Hunter Crouch, Brayden Crouch, Emma Crouch, Sara Smith, Evan Mills, Ella Mills, and Sophia Smith;
and great-great-grandchild, Khaliah Hall.
