Vincent Samuel Galier, age 83, of Florence passed away on
October 28, 2024, peacefully at home in the presence of family.
Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Services will
be held private.
He is preceded by his parents, Victor and Lucille Galier. His
daughter Kristi Lisette Galier. And his siblings; Mickelena
Schroeder, Peter Galier, Elenor Simon, and Victor Galier.
Vincent is survived by his wife of 64 years, Kathleen Marie Galier.
His daughter Leah Galier Heathcoat. Five grandchildren;
Michelena Marshall, Katelyn Guard, Amanda Smallwood, Jake
Heathcoat and Kristen Reynolds. Eight great-grandchildren;
Mackenzie Taylor, Hannah Taylor, Hailee Smallwood, Cameron
Smallwood, Connor Guard, Lotus Marshall, Braden Guard, and
Justice Reynolds. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Vincent was a devout Catholic. Served our country in the United
States Army and took part in the Cuban Missile Crisis.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Barbara
and Gary Coots, Jim and Denise Adamson and all his
grandchildren. As well as Kandace Robinson and the team at
Amedysis Hospice.
In lieu of Flowers donations may be made in Vincent’s name to
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and return in the provided
postage paid envelope to P.O. Box 1999, Memphis, TN 38101, or online.
