Vina Ellis, age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired manager of Kuntry Kitchen, and a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. She was dedicated to loving and caring for her family and everyone she knew. She was also dedicated to loving and serving the Lord faithfully. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Clara Pillows Johnson; her husband, Harlan Ellis; one son, Carl David Wunner; two granddaughters, Donna Carter and Susan Weigart; five brothers, Bill Johnson, Bunt Johnson, Lygie Johnson, Alvin Johnson, and Hubert Johnson; one sister, Ethel Fisher; one half-sister, Berlie Hughes; and three half-brothers, Elec Johnson, Virgil Johnson, and Edward Johnson.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 14, 2014, with Ricky Cotton officiating. Interment will follow at Loretto Cemetery in Loretto, TN.
