Victoria Powell Jernigan, aged 45, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2024, at her home in Jacksonville, AL surrounded by loved ones. She married Kevin Jernigan on October 30, 2004, and has shared a beautiful life for over 19 years. Victoria was a very outgoing and loving person. Her biggest passion was being involved in everything our son Max was involved in at Pleasant Valley High School. Her latest achievement was being Band President & the official Band Mom. Victoria always could make anyone smile as her smile was contagious. To me, she simply lit up every room she walked in. She is predeceased by her mother Donna Lynn; niece Shelby Jernigan. She is survived by her husband, Kevin; son Max Jernigan; Father/Stepfather Andy Lynn (Tammy Vander Hey); Father Parks “Buster” Powell; younger brother Jacob Lynn (Joy Keltner); In-Laws Larry (Linda) Jernigan; Brother In-Law Troy (Rosalyn) Jernigan and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be no memorial service, we do ask that you join us at a later date to be announced to celebrate life. Not just Victoria, but LIFE.
Also, we ask for no flowers or donations. Please take what you would normally donate/spend and create a memory with it.
