Victoria Casteel, age 66 of Decherd, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. A native of Franklin County, she was born on November 17, 1957, in Winchester. She began her work career working at Wal-Mart in Tullahoma with twenty years of service. She then moved to Palm Coast, Florida, where she was a self-employed house cleaner before working in the healthcare field and Winn-Dixie until her retirement. Victoria enjoyed watching soap operas, writing, and playing games such as Scrabble and word puzzles. She also enjoyed attending concerts when she was able. Victoria had moved back to Tennessee to be close to immediate family, but always cherished the times spent in Florida with her family and friends. She had a kind and loving spirit, combined with the gift of gab and a wonderful sense of humor. Victoria was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Daugherty; son, Sean Campbell; step-father, Bob Gault; and grandparents, Lucille Harris, and James Harris. She is survived by her mother, Shirley Harris Gault; daughter, Misty (Blake) Neilan; grandchildren, Kayla Lindsey (Sarah Johnson ), Blade Lindsey, Devlin Lindsey (Alexis Smith), Syerah Burgess, and Amelia Neilan; great-grandsons, Will Sanders, and Asher Smith; father of her children, Jimmy Campbell; brother, Chris Gault; nieces and nephews, Amber Gault, Jacob Gault, and Hannah Campbell; and her four-legged fur babies that she considered her children. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Celebrant Scot Bradford officiating.
