Victor Wilson Lyle, 97, of Huntsville, passed away Friday, April 15. Victor was a retired postal worker and had his own accounting practice. He was an accomplished ballroom dancer having achieved the Author Murray Gold Standard of Dance. He served an Aviation Cadet in the United States Army Air Forces during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Elaine C. Lyle. Survivors include children, Victoria Lyle Cunningham of Hazlehurst, GA, Dr. Douglas Lyle and Nan Owen of Lake Forest, CA, and Melinda Lyle Martin & husband Douglas, of New Castle, PA; grandchildren, Karen Cunningham Stapleton of Hazlehurst, GA, and John Cunningham of Idaho; four great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon Wednesday at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
