Dr. Victor Karl Phillips age 84, of the Short Mountain Community, passed away Tuesday night October 8, 2024, at his residence. He was born April 6, 1940, to his parents the late James Patton and Evelyn Hutchison Phillips. Dr. Phillips was a Clinical Phycologist for 30 years. He is survived by 2 sons: Dr. Jonathan Lokey of Greenville, SC, and Nikoli Lokey of Demorest, Georgia; 2 fur girls: Mae and Jill; sister: Tina Kirkpatrick of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Friends and Neighbors also survived. Burial for Dr. Phillips will be held 2:PM Thursday October 10, 2024, on his farm. There will be no visitation or services held at the funeral home for Dr. Phillips everyone will meet at the cemetery. A special Thank you to Gentevia Hospice for the love and care shown to Dr. Phillips during this time. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in memory of Dr. Phillips.
