Victim Identified In Death At Muscle Shoals Jail

MUSCLE SHOALS-Muscle Shoals Police Chief  Robert Evans released a statement on the unattended death that was reported on April 19th.

Chief Evans said Jason William Dickerson, 44 of Rogersville was found dead in his cell between 5:30 and 6:30 A.M. on Tuesday, April 19.  Dickerson had been arrested on Sunday, April 17th for Public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia by the Muscle Shoals Police.

As is the policy for unattended deaths in a jail the case has been turned over to ALEA (Alabama Law Enforcement Agency) for investigation.
