Vicky Jo Steward was born March 23, 1953 in Booneville, MS. She departed this life on June 5, 2024 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 2 Months, 13 Days.
Vicky’s journey was one of dedication and love. Her days were woven with the threads of hard work and selflessness. She was blessed to have spent the majority of her life as a devoted stay-at-home mom with grace and warmth.
She also had various other roles from working at factories to caring for the elderly. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafts and writing poetry in her spare time. However, above all else, Vicky treasured the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Dana Warren of Selmer, TN, Candey Denbow and husband Shay of Henderson, TN, Clint Steward of Michie, TN, Kristen Haley and husband John of Selmer, TN; father of her children, Larry Steward of Michie, TN; her siblings: Jackie Comer of Michie, TN, Pam Shelton and husband Benny of Selmer, TN, John Pace of Tullahoma, TN, Jason Kiser and wife Susan of College Station, TX; step father, Larry Kiser of Selmer, TN; 10 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Vicky was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Laverne Hearn Kiser; father, Kenneth Eugene Chambers.
In honoring Vicky Jo Steward’s memory today with heavy hearts as we bid her farewell from this world to be with God but also with gratitude for having been touched by her kindness and love throughout the years. May she rest in peace knowing she leaves behind a legacy of love that will always be remembered.
