Vicky Dianne Gallien, age 58, of Florence, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013. Visitation will be Friday, October 18, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 19 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Tommy Ruple officiating. Mrs. Gallien was a member of the Grace Christian Baptist Church of Greenhill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Janie Benefield and brother, Michael Benefield. Survivors include her husband, Ricky Gallien; son, Justin Gallien and wife Megan, of Killen; brothers, Donnie Benefield and wife, Karen, Greg Benefield and wife, Kathy, Zachary Benefield and girlfriend Pam; sister, Connie Newton and husband Phillip; special canine friend “Becca”, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Donnie Benefield, Greg Benefield, Zachary Benefield, Phillip Newton, Mike Gallien and Bree Gallien. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Felix Morris, Dr. Edsel Holden, Dr. Russell Jennings, Dr. Robert Bailey, and Dr. Robert Webb. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Fund for Breast Cancer Research.
