Vicky Bell, 64, of Middleton, died Sunday, March 17th, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital
She was born in Garden Grove, CA on Friday, April 3, 1959, to the late Donald M. Gaither and Juanita Petruzza Gaither and moved to Tennessee in 1967. On July 4, 1984, she was united in marriage to Alton Bell, who survives.
A homemaker and active member of the Pocahontas First Baptist Church, she enjoyed tending her flower beds, macramé, fishing, deer hunting, going to the lake and riding four wheelers. She was blessed with an eye and ability for crafting where she was able to make something beautiful and interesting out of an item that others saw no value in. Most of all, she loved taking care of her family and her granddaughter.
In addition to her husband of 40 years, she leaves her daughter, Cristina Stewart of Pocahontas, her granddaughter, Lexi Hays, also of Pocahontas; two sisters, Donna Sparks of Pocahontas and Janet West of Middleton; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Mrs. Bell will be held at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Middleton on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
