Vickie Sue Hunt, 54, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born September 13, 1969 to the late Curtis Gene Browning and Mavis Jean Taylor Browning in Amory. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was a skilled sewing machine operator until her illness forced her to retire. She enjoyed cooking, making flower arrangements, and going to the beach at Pensacola Beach, where she got to enjoy her last family vacation. Vickie was a dedicated mother to Taylor and Taylor’s friends who referred to her as Momma Vickie. She was loved by all who knew her and she loved her family dearly. Vickie was Taylor’s best friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday August 1, 2024 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Duane Burchman, and Bro. Cody Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5pm – 8pm on Wednesday July 31, at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter, Taylor (Zach) Woods of Belmont; her mother, Mavis Jean Browning of Dennis; sisters, Angie (Travis) Bryan of Tishomingo, and Erin Browning of Belmont; brother, Ian (Gretta) Browning of Tishomingo; nieces, Britany Boyd, Mary Kathryn (Will) Hall, Morgan Hogue, Chloe McCain, Miley McCain, Naomi (Jacob) Witcher, and Talise Eaton; nephews, Erik (Emily) Boyd, Marshall Bryan, Chandler McCain, and Riley Anderson; 6 great nieces, and 1 great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Gene Browning.
Pallbearers will be Seth Terry, Clay Terry, Gary Boren, Trent Woods, Steve Terry, and Winford Terry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Erik Boyd, Roy Starnes, and Dylan Ruple.
