Vickie Lynn Walker, 68, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Vickie was born on December 11, 1955, in Clarksdale, Mississippi to Sammy and Martha Gordon Liles. She married her husband Mike Walker on August 31, 1973, and had three daughters. She retired from Action Lane and worked at American Furniture until May 2017. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels.
Vickie is survived by her husband of 50 years Mike Walker; three daughters, Christy Taylor (Mike), Misty McKnight (Emmett), and Heather Taylor; 9 granddaughters; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Sissy Earnest (Pete) and Nancy Washington (Perry Joe); and two brothers, Paul Liles (Sandra) and Sonny Liles (Rosemary).
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Sammy, and Martha Liles.
Services will be Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 2 PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Pete Gregory officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening March 18th from 5 to 7 PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc and Tuesday, March 19th 1 PM until service time. Burial will follow in Carey Springs Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Emmett McKnight, Mike Taylor, Will Stepp, Landon Tutor, Reid Chapman, Sean Walker, Pete Earnest, and Ethan Earnest.
