Funeral services for Mrs. Vickie Lynn Luckey, age 77, will be Friday January 26, 2024, at 2pm in the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Troy Redmond and Everett Holloway officiating, burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday January 25, 2024, from 5pm until 8pm in the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Luckey, a retired food service manager and member of the Church of God of Prophesy in Paris, TN, passed away on Saturday January 20, 2024, at her home in Springville, TN. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Luckey was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, C.D. Luckey; her parents, Jesse Able and Mary Lee (Fulcher) Carlton; three siblings, Billy Joe Carlton, John Paul Carlton, and Maggie Barnard; a brother-in-law, Thomas Lee Ernest; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Carlton.
Mrs. Luckey is survived by: a daughter Tori Davidson and husband Bob of Springville, TN, a son Jeff Adams and wife Melanie of Murray, KY; her precious Gracie Kate; three sisters, Sandra Ernest, Sheila McCaig and husband Royce, and Georgie Lemmings and husband Donald; one brother, Gerald Carlton; four grandchildren, Megan Adams (Andrew), Josh Adams (Ellen), Cody Crowe, and Jesse Abbott (Collin); six great-grandchildren, Taylor Adams, Jackson and Buck Adams, Tate Grooms Crowe, Emelynn Abbott, and Tanner McFadden; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Carlton and Pauline Carlton; a brother-in-law, Jerry Barnard; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Cody Crowe, Josh Adams, Dwight Carlton, Bryan Ernest, Tim Ernest, and Ryan Ernest and honorary pallbearers are Toby Barnard, Craig Inman, Jacob Holloway, and Brandon Holloway.
