Vickie Louise Burgess Gibson, 54, of Fort Payne, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023. She was born February 19, 1969 to the late Thornon Everett Burgess and Audie Jo Tilley Burgess Holcombe. She worked at Cooper Hosiery as a supervisor.
Funeral services will be 12 noon on Wednesday, May 10th at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
She is survived by her husband Alan Gibson; brother Charles Burgess and wife Dee; and sister Eva Desiree Goodwin and husband Michael; nieces Nikki Self, Brittany Burgess; and nephew Todd Goodwin.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thornon Burgess and Audie Jo Burgess Holcombe.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
