Vickie Jean Stults Holcomb, 57, died unexpectedly Monday, July 10, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born June 18, 1966 in Tupelo to Roy Lee Stults and Betty Jean Fowler Stults. She was a 1983 Mooreville High School graduate. On March 11, 1984 she married William “Tommy” Holcomb and they shared 32 years together before his death on July 2, 2016. Vickie and Tommy for a number of years operated H&H Furniture in Tupelo and Verona and a scrap metal business. After becoming a caregiver to her husband, she decided to become a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. Her more recent years were spent at Countrywood Manor Assisted Living in Mantachie as a Night Shift Lead Supervisor. She loved her family and enjoyed her precious time spent with her beloved Sawyer, who affectionately called her “Nanny”.

Vickie is survived by two siblings, Tracy Stults and his wife, Jenny of Mooreville, and Billie Rogers and her husband, Timmy of Blue Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Holcomb; daughter, Angela Holcomb; parents; Roy Lee and Betty Jean Stults; and two brothers, Lynn Stults, and Ted Stults.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Pegues, Tupelo.

Services honoring Vickie’s life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues with Rev. Bobby Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow at Andrew’s Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Stults, Lynn Stults, Timmy Rogers, and Thomas Reed Roye.

Sawyer Stults will serve as honorary pallbearer.
