Vicki Lee Mitchell passed away peacefully on April 27, 2021 in Huntsville, AL at the age of 71. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1st at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Lt. Col. and Mrs. Harris Toney Mitchell, and her sister, Patricia “Pat” Mitchell Cramer. She is survived by her brother, Harris T. Mitchell, Jr. of Destin, FL; daughter, Angie Fagan (David) of Daphne, AL; sons, John and Robert (Madeline) of Huntsville, AL; her grandchildren, Austin Hopkins (Lauren), Axee Lambert (Casey), Anna Mullins and Mem Mullins; great-grandson, Holden Hopkins; niece, Hollan Cramer Campbell (Phillip); nephew, Harris T. “Mitch” Mitchell, III; great-nephews, Dylan and Mason; great-niece, Patricia Lanier; along with many other family members that she loved dearly.
Vicki was a native Huntsvillian. She had so many wonderful friends who tell stories of her love of music and adventure. She had an infectious smile and a laugh that won’t soon be forgotten. Time with her family was cherished by her and was apparent until her last breath as she enjoyed having her family and friends surrounding her through her final hours. One of her favorite things in life was “building memories”. Her family and friends will always cherish all of their memories with her. Following her wishes, she will be buried at her daddy’s feet since she was always a daddy’s girl – there are no truer words.
